  Ilene M. wrote: WORST MOVERS EVER! We used Ocean Movers to pack and move us from Florida to Mississippi. We requested a 2 day hold on our furnishings due to our closing date in FL and specifically requested and they agreed that our furnishing would not be transloaded. When they dept 2 of their trucks were loaded. When they arr in MS there were 3 U-Haul trucks. Due to their mishandling my wooden furniture was dented, scraped and scratched. A wooden arm was completely broken off a sette and a solid oak chair had the back completely broken off! Too much to list. Boxes were partially loaded creating more issues. After pointing out this damage to their personnel and talking with Amber, I was told it appeared to be normal wear and tear. They had no interest in compensating our damage. DO NOT USE THEM! NOT ETHICAL NOR TRUST WORTHY!!!

The crew supervisor, Azad Basar Sahbudak, literally held my furniture hostage until I paid more than I had previously agreed to pay. When I asked to speak to the supervisor before I overpaid, Basar instructed his crew to remove furniture from my home as leverage. Even after I said I would pay, he continued to make his crew remove my property from my home and act aggressively towards me in front of my child. The movers also broke a lamp that belongs to a pair and left knicks and scratches on many pieces of my wooden furniture and walls. When I reported this behavior to Amber, the main office contact, I was told I would receive a call back and resolution by the end of the day. I still have not received that call days later and given that Basar and Amber share the same last name, I believe the deception and dishonesty of this company is unending. Please don't make the same mistake I made and DO NOT hire this company.
