  I just had a loveseat done by DaSilva Upholstering (http://dasilvaupholstering.com) in the spring. When they returned it to me I had a few moments of panic as I thought they'd brought me back the wrong sofa; it was so totally transformed I didn't recognise it. Worth every penny of the $3K I spent. I did, however, choose a very high end durable fabric (included in the price) that will hopefully last another 40 years ... and the sofa did have to be completely re-built, raised in height & re-stuffed, not just re-covered. They are a family company and I would recommend them.

My couch is one piece, the cushions do not come off, and the covering doesn't come off either. Pictures attached to help illustrate what needs to be repaired.
