ISO trainer for groundwork
I have a 14 year old gelding with some rudeness issues. He had several years off without any work/training and while I've been making progress since January, I'm only able to work with him 1-2 times a week. I think he needs a bit of a groundwork bootcamp. Under saddle he's generally pretty good. He's currently in Centreville, VA (near Manassas Battlefield). I am open to keeping him there or bringing him to a trainer's facility (would need to be in northern Virginia) for a period of time (probably start at 1 month and see how it goes). He's a smart guy, but he needs to build some respect.
I unfortunately am new to this area, so it's hard to know who to trust. If you can provide any information about your training philosophy and references, that would be really helpful.
Thanks!
