About us
The Maryland Equestrian Team is a club sport at the University of Maryland. We compete as an equitation team in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) against other collegiate schools in our region. We offer weekly lessons at Oatland Stables.
Our coach is Astrid Dalley, the owner and trainer at Oatland Stables. She comes from a background in Equitation and Jumpers as a junior and continues to show in the hunters and jumpers as a professional.
Our team is not just a competition team. Many of our members take weekly lessons to improve their riding and catch a break from the hectic college life. We hold social events on and off campus from fundraising at Maryland Basketball games to participating in clinics with hunter and equitation trainers in the area.

Ideally, I'm looking for somewhere in the Howard County area (give or take, I live in Ellicott City/Columbia), between $200-300/mo, full-care, with trail access and a riding ring. Additionally, I would also like to find someone who can lease or ride her on a regular basis. Please private-message me if you have any suggestions or leads on either. Facility has an indoor and 3 outdoor arenas, large tack lockers, hot/cold wash stall, access to trails and more. Field horses are fed in individual feed pens so they can't share or steal grain, they have multiple run in sheds, heated troughs in winter. 410-365-4939
