  For those of us who were not insured and are doing repairs and rebuilding ourselves - is there anywhere like a one-stop advice centre where we can get advice on the sequence of things to do? Advice on whether to remove all floorboards / plaster or not? Are there any companies who do the anti-bacterial spray onto walls / joists / doors which have not warped and bent and now don't need removal? Also, are there any surveyors in Cumbria who can do a check and advise please? Someone to look at a house and tell the homeowner exactly what is damaged and need removing and what can be saved? Most of my walls were cement rendered and don't need to have the plaster redone but I'm not sure about the floorboards. Is there a list of tradesmen who are willing to help at reduced cost please? I know there are companies and tradesmen who are helping or donating machinery - one central advice centre would be great. I've used some companies already and I know others would benefit.
