  I am absolutely desperate and wondering if anybody can help. I signed a tenancy agreement to move to hastings next weekend, I have booked my van, given in my notice and sold most of my stuff where i am in yorkshire. I have two children who are enrolled to start school down there in september and my new landlady has just let me down due to "unforeseen circumstances". I desperately need either a two or three bedroomed place to move into in just over a week. can pay deposit and rent straight away. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks!

  Phone or email housingadvice@hastings.gov.uk 01424 451100 they should have a list of private landlords/agents who can help you out in the shorterm until you find something suitable .Probably wont be great but after all your preparations it sounds like the only way is to move down here and then be in a better position to look around . You have to be here to be able to do so ,too hard trying to do it long distance ,
