About us
“Your Pet’s Pal” will pet sit in your own home, providing you and your pet a level of comfort and security that can’t be found elsewhere. This includes feeding, walking your dogs, play time, yard maintenance and all general care, including administering medications, special dietary requirements, and any other special pet needs.
We will walk and exercise your dog, for those times when work, travel or health prevent you from providing this important part of your dog’s life. Physical and mental stimulation is integral to having a happy dog, and we aim to help you make sure your dog is enjoying life.

Who are we?
Ian Luke has owned and shown pure bred dogs since 1991, mainly Alaskan Malamutes, but also Siberian Huskys, French Bulldogs and American Staffordshire Terriers. He’s the longest serving President in the history of the Alaskan Malamute Club, Victoria, Inc. and has served that club in many other roles.
Ian is a licensed dog show Judge, avid fan and participant of sled dog sports including weight pull and backpacking, and a published author, including “The Alaskan Malamute- A Buyer’s Guide” and “The Siberian Husky Buyer’s Guide”.
His experience with animals goes back to his childhood, growing up on a dairy farm in Northern Victoria.
We have strong ties with various veterinary practices, pet supplies businesses and groomers and can meet any need you have, while ensuring your pet is safe, secure in your own home, and well looked after.

Cats
Monday to Friday daily rate $15.00
Weekend daily rate $20.00
Public Holiday daily rate $30.00
This caters for as many cats as you have, and includes 45 minutes in your home, during which cats will be fed, water will be changed, kitty litter will be cleaned or changed, play time and cuddle time, home and yard security check, bins taken out/brought in, mail collection and... show more watering of plants.
Dogs
Monday to Friday daily rate $25.00
Weekend daily rate $30.00
Public holiday daily rate $40.00 per day
This caters for 1 dog and as many cats as you have and includes one hour in your home, during which your pets will be fed, water changed, yard cleaned, up to 30 minutes walking, play time and cuddle time, home and yard security check, bins taken out/brought in, mail collection and watering of plants.
Transport
Crate hire $5.00 per journey (including return).
$25.00 per hour, plus a kilometre surcharge of $1.00 per kilometre travelled, should the total journey travelled exceed 10 kilometres.
Food delivery
$5.00 per bag/product withing 10 kilometres. a kilometre surcharge of $1.00 per kilometre travelled, should the total journey travelled exceed 10 kilometres.
