  As a former vet assistant, I'd really recommend not letting your cat out at all. They can pick up all sorts of internal and external parasites and diseases, not to mention the regular hazards of being run over or getting lost or getting eaten. Also, animal cruelty laws up here are very lax. Someone may very well shoot your cat. For grooming, many places are booked out for a pretty long time. The flood drove out a lot of groomers, so the ones that stayed are really really busy. The one that I recommend though (since the groomer at my work is busy and she can't take on new clients) is Pearl's Pet Parlor, owned by Bethany. The number is 701-858-0938.
