  awhile back, I had a plumber come to install my pedestal sink, the poor man almost broke his body on my steep narrow stairs, and fell, breaking a step, he caught himself but I didn't know how to fix a broken 105 year old stair to look like the others. I called the plumbing company and they sent out a wondrous man named Buzz who not only fixed it but it looks just like the others, with rounded edges and all, fine workmanship. Problem, I need Buzz but don't know his name or number. I need a honey do, with tons of little things that need doing but they have to fit into the house, trim and such, in two houses, most carpenters only want to do large things, these are jobs like cutting and installing trim, installing my turn switch light switches, putting in a new light fixture, putting trim around the floors and closets in my mom's house, odds and ends things. I was considering asking buzz but I cannot find his last name and number and cannot remember which plumbing place came out.

  You might also call Jerry McCool, at McCool Construction co. He's right here in town. I worked for him for years, he is an amazing woodworker, and a charismatic man. I have no doubt that he would be able to match that stair tred, as well as being able to get a trustworthy, local plumber to help you, and if anything else, point you in the right direction.
