  Update: this evening when I went to feed him, he growled until he saw who I was, then started wagging his tail and stomping his front feet--Excited about the food. Tomorrow we're going to see if we can get a collar on him and put him on a lead away from my other dogs. If he warms up in the next couple days so that he can go to a home, I'm going to be looking for a good home that can provide a vet reference. Please help me find him a home--he seems to have had a rough life. This guy showed up at my house today. Looks about 35-40 lbs (malnourished), scars on face, neck, and hind legs. Fighting? We fed him but can't approach him as he growls. Acts scared. I'm in North Ridge subdivision in Milledgeville. If he wasn't growling, I was going to try and de-worm him and find him a good home. As it is, I don't of anything to do besides call Animal Control. Suggestions?

  Give him time....if you are the only place he can trust and get food...he should come back around...I go to park place animal hospital.......706.453.4828 .....everyone there is super nice....they are not far from publix...they are very close to Oconee regional humane society.... .
