About us
My name is Tim Gmeiner, also recognized under the artist/musician name "ill poetic" and I am the sole owner and artist behind SoundRzn Graphic & Sound-Design.
I believe anyone passionate about their craft is an artist. That means you’re an artist. I’m an artist. That guy over there is an artist. We’re all a bunch of artists. This means we’re all constantly at the service of or providing services to other artists. Like most of you, I've spent years on both sides of the fence.
How does this relate to SoundRzn? I initially became obsessed with the connection between the audio and visual fields and actually built a pretty successful music career threading these fields together. As I grew in my career, I became fascinated with how communication could help marry these ideas more seamlessly. After years of creating albums, artwork and branding for myself, I began collaborating alongside other artists to expand my own personal vision. I learned that for me, nothing felt better than explaining my idea and then watching someone else use their talent to build on my vision. From trombone players to entertainment lawyers, I studied the psychology and language of each of their trades to get the results from them I wanted. It was in this process that I found a deep love for the art of communication.
And this is what I offer with SoundRzn. At the base of music production, arrangement, engineering and graphics work sits my passion to collaborate. I enjoy understanding the client and their field, then fleshing out their idea to it’s maximum potential. This means that before I even lift a finger, I consult with my clients, probing and picking apart their vision until I feel like I'm in the center of it. After gaining a clear perspective of their goals, I work tirelessly, transparently, confidently, and efficiently to go above and beyond that client's wishes, obsessing over the tiniest details.
