Southern Charm all the way! Inexpensive, friendly staff. Don't go on Saturday night unless you go early for the all you can eat crab legs. It gets crazy in there!

I have had two horrid experiences at Southern Charm. I would never go there again. The village is much more reliable and friendly staff

I haven't been pleased with the food at Southern Charm. It's all pretty bland. Such a shame. I hope they improve it.

Helen, it's a shame that you had two bad experiences at Southern Charm. For awhile I was eating there a few times a week (I run the B&B right beside it). Most of our guests eat there at some time during their stay. We've only had one complaint since they opened. We personally has some poor service when they hired a bunch of new servers that still didn't have their groove figured out. But the food has always been fantastic. Our favorites: meatloaf, philly cheese steak, grilled chicken, their fried chicken is fantastic & they give you alot, their salads are really good, they do a good salmon. They honestly have the best broccoli I've ever eaten. I usually order broccoli for both of my sides. Great collard greens, hash brown casserole, fried okra. Can you tell I love the place? Personally, I like The Village ok, but it really seems like cafeteria food to me. It's inexpensive, AYCE buffet. I go there when I need a quick full belly.
