I've rang around some that I've found on google but they all say that they don't flag people over, they only collect people that have booked! The reason i asked is because i lost my phone in a taxi that we got in on broad street early hours Sunday morning but dont know which taxi firm it was... Thanks

  Legally, private hire taxis aren't allowed to pick you up, they have to be booked so they will all say that. You have to book them so your taxi / driver can be traced if needed and you know it is a reputable, legal Taxi. So it could be any really - all you can do is phone as many as you can and see if a driver has handed one in! The only ones allowed to pick up in the street are black cabs TOA number is 0121 427 8888
