  We've had good luck with Action Appliance Repair (800-357-1234). They have fixed our refrigerator, washer and dryer. They do charge to come out and evaluate. If you have them do the repair work then that charge is applied to the repair bill. If you don't have them do the work then you still pay for the service call. Most appliance repair companies work that way.
