Due to worsening health issues, I am faced with a difficult and dreaded decision...parting with my babies. I have 2 purebred Shih-Tzus...a male and a female. The male is 6 years old and the female is 7 years old. I have had them both since they were 8 weeks of age. They are both fixed and microchipped. They have always had full vet care and are current on all vaccinations (just received the most recent on 8/1/2015). They are used to being pampered and receiving nothing but the best. They get grain-free food and treats because the female has a lot of allergies. They cannot use any type of topical flea treatments due to a bad reaction. They also both take medication on a daily basis (the female's medication is for allergies and dry skin and the male's medication is for anxiety problems). The medications are inexpensive ($60 every 3 months at Wal-Mart). They get groomed on a regular basis and are used to lots of attention. I will only accept a home for them that is able to provide for them emotionally as well as financially. They are not used to being around small children or a lot of commotion so a calm, quiet home is a must. Not that they would ever hurt a child, they just aren't used to it so it makes them very nervous. They are also not used to being left alone for any significant length of time. I will require a vet reference, home visit, and a negotiable rehoming fee to ensure that they go to a great home. Please pm me with any questions. Thank you!
