My Wonderful Welsh Wedding was set up by The Wedding Guild of Wales as an alternative for brides and grooms to choose trusted suppliers; suppliers that other suppliers recommend.
A business cannot get a higher accolade than to have others in the same industry recommend and use their services!
Most businesses need to advertise, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. There are many directories etc in which most of us will advertise our services at some point, and we would not really have got our services off the ground if we didn't spread the word in this way. But it can get confusing for Brides & Grooms when they see "recommended, approved, sponsored and advertorial listings, because we, the supplier have paid to enhance our listing. Unless the editor or publisher states that you are being advertised too, rather than them personally recommending a service, it can get confusing. So, unlike many other websites, directories and blogs, none of the businesses on this site have paid an editor, publisher or blogger to be recommended or approved on My Wonderful Welsh Wedding.
When you choose a supplier from the Guild, you know you will be choosing from some of the very best Wales has to offer because we have actually seen them in action.
As individual businesses, if a bride or groom asks if we can recommend another supplier, we recommend them because we know how good they are. This is in our view, is putting our customer first, rather than accepting a commission or payment to guide you to a service.
All businesses were handpicked from a group of suppliers that regularly work together at weddings and events.
Through the common interest of providing excellence to our customers, many of us have become friends.
Every member here was selected for their experience, due care to customers, first class work ethic, and just as important, business integrity.
The founder members of the Guild have paid for the website, there was no charge to any of the other suppliers....they... show more have indeed all EARNED recommendations, purely through building excellent reputations in their own right.
Because we are a non profit making organization, we do not have a direct phone number. However, if you have general questions, our email address is below, or for specific questions about any service, please contact the necessary supplier directly.
