  Scott: I know it has been posted on here in the past and very recently. Where do I find Original Blue Prints for my home? My house was build in 1943 and has not been touched by any contractor. I called the Lakewood Building Department and was told that they don't and won't store blue prints for anyone's home. Do I have to contact LA County recorders office or is there an outside resource I can use. TIA
