Posted a few days ago... need help Hey everyone- I made a post a few days ago stating that my therapist would be willing to write me a letter supporting my need for an ESA. I haven’t heard from her for a while & she told me she’s busy last time we spoke ... weird right? Anyway , I need this letter ASAP as I’m looking to relocate and in order for my application to be approved I need supporting paperwork for my dog. Is there any where that I can get a LEGIT letter? I know they have them online but the landlord said they will be contacting the therapist to verify the letter and they have their own forms that my therapist has to fill out.

I got my letter online. My landlord accepted it and didn't need to verify it, but the letter had the therapist's phone number and email on it if they needed to. I didn't need a separate form either but I remember it was an option during the checkout process. The company I used is called [esadoctors.com](https://esadoctors.com). I wrote about my experience with them in more detail in other posts. Happy to answer questions. Like the other commenter in this post mentioned, you can also try your PCP. It seems like from what people have said in these forums though PCPs are somewhat reluctant to write these letters.
Can I be charged for an ESA Letter? I recently contacted a therapist near me and she told me her rate for a consultation is 200 and then she said the letter would be 250. I've been running back and forth from therapists near me in hopes of getting a consultation and letter but no one has gotten in touch with me. The therapist I'm in contact with is willing to give me a letter but my question is, is it normal for them to charge me for it? I figured I would only pay for the consultation and not the letter itself.
Thank you!
Sidenote: does anybody know of any therapists who can supply consultations/ESA letters online to people not in their area?

That's a bit odd, but I guess there's nothing that would prevent a therapist from charging an additional fee for the process/work involved in evaluating you for an ESA and then drafting up the letter. You can definitely do this cheaper by using an online therapist. I used esadoctors.com and have recommended them to others here who were also happy with their service. Good luck!
What is the price range for obtaining my letter? Hey guys! I am just wondering about the average price of your letters. I have just moved and so I have to make an appointment with a doctor I've never seen before, so in addition to the letter, I guess its also the fee for a regular appointment. Basically he is charging 250. I heard from someone this may be on the more expensive side, but I'm really not sure what the going rate is. Also, again considering, that this isn't a doctor who I have been seeing, so it's not like the letter on its own is 250, but the assessment + letter. Either way, does this seem averagely priced?
If not, anyone knows any reliable doctors who are willing to do online/phone appointments? Thanks in advance!

That seems to be within the ballpark for an in-person visit. You can definitely check out a provider who will help you online as well, online services are usually cheaper. I have recommended [esadoctors.com](https://esadoctors.com) to others in this forum, I had a good experience using them for my ESA.
