  CAP on I-10 sells used crates. Pup Scouts Dog Training ( http://www.pup-scouts.com ) also has a new program where they will lend you crates to fit your growing pup when you buy one from them. As your puppy out grows a crate, you turn it in and get the next size up until you're ready for the full-sized, brand new crate.

  Pup Scouts has a free puppy class. There is no obligation and you can come even if you don't sign up for obedience classes. It's every Saturday at 2:30 and it's for dogs 10-20 weeks. Just call and let them know that you're coming- (713)468-7877. The class has an off leash playtime, then manners practice (ie greeting people nicely, not jumping etc.) and then usually a short lesson on other puppy issues. The class ends with another off leash playtime. Their web site is http://www.pup-scouts.com

  Pup Scouts Free Fridays begins tonight with a free No Jump class. All the working slots are taken but there is still room if you would like to observe. There will also be refresments and door prizes. Next month's Free Friday (Novemeber 14 th) is the class Quick Tricks to Amaze and Impress- Simple tricks your dog can learn in minutes.
