Any one recommend a good local or semi local tri coach? Someone that can design a custom training plan that's not just generic plans. Good swim background too. Thanks.

coach-janet.com. I used her for two seasons and she runs a lot of tri swim camps
I agree with Robin. I offer single one hour classes or packages that include video if needed and homework to do between sessions. The TAT & Coach-Janet Learn to Swim and Mastering the Mile classes will start after the beginning of the year. Visit my web site Coach-Janet.com
Does anyone know of a good swim coach for a 47 year old newbie? Preferably in the Stillwater area but I could travel to OKC or Tulsa once or twice a week. It would need to be a coach that can work...
I'm interested in trying a tri. Can you all recommend some good resources for a beginner? Any suggestions for a good, beginner friendly tri? Thanks!!

Our tri camps begin in January-ish. Lots of info online. Beginnertriathlete.com is one popular place. TAT has a lending library too. Spend fall and winter on getting some good swim pointers from coach-janet.com. She is a local USAT-certified tri coach who works with a lot of ppl to get their swim up. Spring Fever in April is our club's signature newbie race. Check out our website too: www.tatok.com
