  I've used Ray Nocella (and now his son, since he's pretty old) for two houses over 20 years now. http://www.nocellaroofing.com/ I'm not sure if they're expensive or cheap, i just know they're reliable and good.

  Not south philly based anymore but I've been using [Ray Nocella](http://www.nocellaroofing.com/) for probably 20 years on two different houses. It's mostly run by his son now and I don't think they're the cheapest, but they're reliable and have been around a really long time.
