Anyone know of any places that are looking for long hair to make into wigs for cancer patients? I know of Locks for Love, but they only seem to make wigs for children. What about grownups who need them too?

I think it's like anything else. Kids get more attention. I've donated to Locks of Love before and I remember reading in the fine print that they sell hair they can't use and put the $ back into the program. You can also try Pantene's program http://www.pantene.com/en-us/pantenebeautifullengths/pages/default.aspx
hair place for long, thick hair I need a good salon to cut my very long and thick hair.
Yelp is giving me one to many options and need some advice.
Thanks!

I just donated mine to Pantene. They help women who are fighting cancer get free wigs. The hair needs to be a min of 8 inches (mine was 9.5). http://www.pantene.com/en-US/PanteneBeautifulLengths/Pages/default.aspx
Does anyone know of a legitimate foundation that DONATES your hair when you cut it to make wigs? Locks of love sells that shit for a serious profit. Help me out.
Does anyone know of a charity that accepts donated hair and doesnt charge the families that recieve it? I have decided i would like to donate my hair. But i have heard locks of love charges the families that recieve the wigs alot of money.

Pantene Beautiful Lengths program does actually donate them... they're partnered with the American Cancer Society also. http://www.pantene.com/en-US/PanteneBeautifulLengths/Pages/default.aspx
