I am new to the area and would love some vet recommendations :) I live in the West Ashely area but I am definitely willing to travel anywhere in the Charleston area if it means my fur kiddos get the best care. I'm searching for a vet that is very proactive and good with animals AND their humans. I know those points could go without saying, but after a couple bad experiences and almost loosing 2 kitties throughout the past because of it, I get nervous looking for vets :/ ...Also, a vet that takes a more holistic approach would be awesome, but I know those are harder to come by so it isn't a necessity.   It's also helpful to look up vets to see if they've had any disciniplary actions against their license... http://www.llr.state.sc.us/ Go to "licensee lookup" and choose veterinarians.

  Does anyone have any idea who I would report a doctor to, if they refuse to give me my records? All total 5 requests have been sent and I've called personally and we still have no records.
