Kena Gottier
I have CMT and try to find a way to balance staying active with the extreme fatigue, weakness and pain I have. Any suggestions?
Kena, I would strongly suggest you see a physical therapist who know a lot about CMT. They can help you get a specific program to keep you strong. People with CMT get very specific patterns of motor weakness, and a specialized program can really help. Try to contact one of the CMT centers around the country, to see if they have a specialized PT. We do here at Cedars-Sinai, in Los Angeles. The Neruopathy Assoication and the HNF can probably help find you the right place to go. Glenn Pfeffer
