Personally, I would look for two things in a vet for a cat; AAHA and AAFP accreditation. Look up catvets.com, I think they should have a hospital locator.
Hey, vet-friends( Lindsey Hedges-Gieseking, Amanda Lynn Perkins, anyone else?), do you know of any veterinarians in the Charleston, SC area that you would recommend?
LOCAL friends: It is getting closer to that one year mark and sadly I am looking to switch out vets due to ridiculously overpriced office visits. Anyone know or use a local vet who is decently priced or helps to explain every fee in good detail?
Thanks.

My cat has a leg problem... Tufts medical clinic wants to charge me $4,000 to fix it. Anyone know a cheaper vet in or near mass?!?

Wignall Animal Hospital up my way is amazing. Maybe too far for you, but they have some other resources on their site: http://wignall.com/our-professional-affiliations/ & http://www.catvets.com/
