Looking for a type of bar or lounge Hi, I am looking for a specific type of bar or lounge to take my girlfriend to for our anniversary/Christmas.
I am looking for a bar/lounge that has a romantic atmosphere while maintaining a setting that is like a combination of The Carnegie Club and The Beekman Bar Room. We really love that old school "Gotham" style.
It would be awesome if this place had a piano player (but not a crazy joint like Don't Tell Mama). We are looking to come here for a nightcap so we want it to be chill. Ideally it would be located in Midtown too.
We drink wine and vodka so a whiskey bar wouldn't really be our thing. Nor would a speakeasy type of place.
Any suggestions?

[The Campbell](https://www.thecampbellnyc.com/) seems to fit the kind of atmosphere you're looking for and is right in Midtown. [Flatiron Lounge](http://flatironlounge.com/) I'll second /u/Rave-light's suggestion of [Temple Bar](http://templebarnyc.com/), though it's probably further downtown than you'd care to venture they're closing down at the end of the year so this is your last chance to check this place out
Peeps-I've made it to NYC. What should I do now? Any recommendations?

I'm looking to take out my fiance for Christmas in NYC and I need your suggestions in a classy restaurant Looking to spend in the $100-175 range for a nice dinner for 2, dessert optional. Preferably in the lower parts of Manhattan or anywhere in Brooklyn/Queens. We like to eat anything and everything. Thanks everyone!

If you're looking for a cocktail before dinner, go to the [Flatiron Lounge](http://www.flatironlounge.com/). Best Manhattan in Manhattan.
