  Wix isn't really as bad as Kyle says it is. I've been using it for 2 years now. There are only 2 different levels of paying. The only extra subscriptions are for if you want to use apps developed by other services that partner with wix. The free sites add is small and on the very bottom of the page and ONLY advertises that the website was made on wix.com I assume you are not an expert programmer, and you don't want to pay a developer 2,000-15,000 for a website plus hosting fees so your only options are have a site with a conservatively small ad for the hosting service and buy a domain or pay the hosting fee for no adverts and buy a domain.
