  Beth, thank you so much for recommending me! We service that area - I actually grew up in Corryton in Emory Estates Aaron & Christy, congrats! You guys are already starting 2014 off with a bang! Your first step is to meet with a real estate agent for a sit-down buyer consultation to form a needs analysis. What we find is that what your lifestyle vision is proves to be just as important as what your must haves are in a house itself. When a clear vision is established with your Realtor, house-hunting is more fun, and the purchase more fulfilling. I recommend working with an agent who specializes in Buyer Agency. What that means specifically is that your agent works only with buyers, and the reason that's important is that they are specialists - they don't do administrative work, they don't work with sellers, they don't divide their time up. Their one thing is working with buyers - helping buyers through the pre-approval process, previewing homes, showing homes, negotiating for their clients, and making sure their clients have the best home-buying experience. Because they specialize in Buyer Agency, they know the market better than most agents because they view hundreds of homes each month and have their finger on the pulse of the market.
