About us
OnTarget Massage is fronted by Gemma Underwood. I qualified in Sports and Remedial massage back in 2012 but have since found my career taking a very different path. The first course I took after qualifying was in Hot Stone massage, which I use in nearly all treatments. I have undertaken many different courses since to further my career, deepen my knowledge and most importantly to benefit my client, thus being able to offer my clients the best possible therapies. I quickly discovered that more and more of my clients were women who were pregnant, this lead to becoming more specialist and focus my business on “well woman” and supporting women through conception, pregnancy, motherhood and beyond. I am now qualified in Aromatherapy, Holistic Facials, Anti-Aging Facial Massage (Ayurvedic Face Massage), Hopi Ear Candling, Sports & Remedial Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Warm Bamboo Massage, Thai Foot Massage and Pregnancy Massage. All of these can be stand-alone therapies but equally, I do often combine many of these in order to offer by clients the most suited therapy for them. I tailor make these therapies to your well woman needs and support you holistically on this journey through your various and life stages. Aromatherapy is also used to support your journey in-between therapy sessions, this can take the form of taking home products such as rollerballs, misters, room sprays, shower gel, bath oil, bath salts to name but a few.
I also run Baby Massage classes (please contact me for further details and information).
I am also looking at running Aromatherapy workshops, details of this will be coming soon.
In all my therapies I only use high quality and ethical products, and Neal’s Yard Remedies is who I choose to use. Neal’s Yard Remedies are leaders in UK and Organic Skincare. I am also able to bring these products to your home/place of work etc for you and others to sample. I am based from a treatment room in the centre of the village with parking and easy access (address will be given upon confirmation of your appointment) I am a member of the CNHC, CThA and also the FHT. All treatments are conducted in a Safe and Professional environment, including client confidentiality and appropriate therapist etiquette. I have full insurance (details available on request).
