  Michelle Bella our mortgage broker got us approved on our first home when the bank screwed up. We were "pre-approved" so we put in a offer only for the banks to then say we hadn't been at our job long enough. Our broker - Lori Watson has been with us for 12 years now and we LOVE her. She has gotten us higher amounts and better rates on 3 different houses and 1 refinance for an even lower rate. Our current house she had us approved for almost $100,000 more then our credit union could do. (We bought a farm so that $100,000 made the difference between being able to do it and not.)
