Got some friends looking for a good hostel in Dublin, Ireland. Suggestions? Discounts??

oh, boy, oh, boy… pretty much everything is expensive over there. All my friends stayed at my place, so no particular experiences with that… But one friend stayed at a good one, Fitzsimons Hotel, at the end of the Temple Bar, which is 40 during the week, 50 on weekends (euros). Which is… expensive, but is a hotel in the middle of the Dublin life, on the South (aka fancy) side of the city. The rooms are pretty neat and nice. Jake, there are two more hostels, where some friends stayed before and after I left, but I never saw them in life, except the Avalon house http://www.avalon-house.ie/ It is pretty decent for a hostel. And you could check the Sky Backpackers (here you have the prices https://netgate.chartspms.com.au/pb/skylif/display ) Check this website http://www.hostelworld.com/hostels/Dublin Try and take a hostel on the north side of the city (in Dublin 1 mainly), because it is considered by the irish as not-the-good side, but it's just some customs they've got for years, I live there, it is pretty nice Enjoy your stay! If you need any other tips about the pubs over there, I would be happy to share some of the dearest places I've been to
