  I have a question, if anybody can help me. My Mom is 79 years old & lives in Springfield. For over 30 years her primary care physician has been in Beavercreek but he has quit practicing. She is trying to locate a doctor here in Springfield because it would be much easier for her to go see a local doctor. There is a doctor whose office is located by Wal-Mart on US 40 (Tuttle Rd) that has a big sign saying that he is accepting new patients. She called there & the receptionist asked her what kind of insurance she has. Mom told her that she was retired & has Medicare/Medicaid. The receptionist got kind of snotty with her & told her "WE don't TAKE that!" She really needs to find a local doctor so that she can keep her prescriptions up to date (blood pressure, etc.) . Does anybody have any ideas about who might be accepting patients in Springfield?

  Western Medicine just outside of Enon has several good doctors. 937/864/2369. They close at noon on Friday.
