This is the worst news a Commercial/residential property owner could receive. My property values are already in the toilet. Now this? Stand up and fight people.   Ok folks let's try this. Go to familydollar.com and then go to storelocator. It's really interesting to see where they are located. Lower income neighborhoods predominantly in Noco.

  I grew up in this neighbor and still do live here and work in surrounding. My house was bought by the airport. I dont think another family dollar is needed. That would make 2 in ferguson, 1 in cool valley and 1 in berkerley all 5 min away. With this said the lofts that used to be Maninos help bring the value back. That family dollar would be bad for business. Period.

  My complaint is that there are already so many dollar stores around. I don't frequent them, but if I did, there are already more than enough from which to choose: there is the one across the street from that location (Dollar Tree?) and a new Family Dollar in Cool Valley. And that's not even mentioning the dollar store on Airport in Berkeley or the two on W Florissant in the former Walgreens locations (and that's just off the top of my head. I'm certain there are others). Aren't we at capacity? Shouldn't we be?

  Just got to familydollar.com and scroll to the bottom and click careers. It's the dacono store. Part time $8.50 I think an hour. Call the store ask for lettti and bug her about getting hired.

  Family dollar is. We just let a gal go, I'm leaving, and one of our managers is going to be leaving as well as one cashier. So we will probably be hiring for 2-3 cashiers and a assistant manager
