About us
At the age of 15, when all my friends were looking for summer jobs, I found my passion, photography. It’s common for teens to be undecided about life but since I first looked through a camera lens I’ve known what I wanted to be. When you’re behind a camera, you see things in a different perspective. To me, photography isn’t just about snapping a few pictures; it’s an art. You can never take a perfect picture there’s always something that can be improved. Photography is about creativity, mathematics, science, and it involves a lot of planning and dedication. It’s not as easy as everyone thinks, but that’s why I love it. Being only 15, I started it as a hobby, but as my sophomore year progressed I saw it as a great opportunity to save for college, so I began charging more for my services, and soon I had a very nice client list.
During the summer of 2012 I began actively building my photography business and advertising more. I first began posting ads on Facebook, and I created this Business page. Within the first month, I was getting contacted by people who had been referred by my past clients. So, many people have supported me in building my business, and many are now repeat customers. Near the end of my sophomore year I was accepted into the Arkansas School for Mathematics Science and the Arts. I knew being accepted into the school would affect my photography business, but it’s a challenge I accepted. School has always been a priority and it always will. ASMSA offered many courses that are helpful to my career such as digital photography and documentary film. Now, as a freshman in college, I have my own studio with regular and repeating customers. I plan to pursue photography more because it's something that I absolutely love, as well as something I have a talent for. As the famous saying goes, "chose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."
