About us
Malcolm has been in the trade since 1967 and oversees the measuring and fitting side of the business and Elsa takes care of the telephone sales, ordering advertising etc.
Today Malcolm concentrates more on the Conservatory and Curtain side as well as the contract part of the business, whilst other members of staff who have been part of the team and been with Blinds Etcetera for well over 10 years now take care of the domestic sales and fitting and manufacturing.
Blinds Etcetera pride themselves upon making 75% of the blinds and curtains ‘in-house’ where their own seamstresses make up the best part of their soft furnishings.
Other than the normal domestic work undertaken,we have been involved in supply and fitting Blinds, Curtains , Bed Throws and accessories to, Luxurious Hotels the most recent being Hillthwaite House Hotel, Windermere, The Trout Hotel, Cockermouth, Jesmond Dene House Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne, The Cotswold House Hotel in Chipping Camden, and the Northcote Manor Hotel in Langho, Lancashire, as well as undertaking contracts for Celebrities, Footballers and Pop Stars, Football Stadia, Hospital, Offices,etc, etc,.
