  I had to call a Sparky on Friday morning. I called Stellar Electrical, Adam who owns the business came to do the work himself, not a employee and was here within 1 hr. I couldn't believe it, I did ask if he could possibly come sometime in the morning as I had something on in the afternoon so he came straight away. He didn't charge me the earth and was very professional. So just letting you all know, for a realiable sparky I would recommend this business from my own experience. Just saying. (And no I am not plugging a family members business) lol.

I rang AGL about my ridiculous power bills and based on what i've told them, they think my electricity bill is twice as high as it should be. They recommend getting an electrician to do an energy audit, which checks everything to make sure there are no electrical leaks and sees if any appliances are faulty and drawing far more power than they need. I'm a pensioner so i need someone reliable who's not going to charge me an arm and a leg.
