Any tips for someone with no building/contractor/construction experience looking to install a shed? I have zero construction experience and am looking to put up a shed. Any suggestions or tips? I'm in the very early planning stages. Thanks!

I was the exact same about 4 months ago. I used icreatables.com and followed their plans and online videos. I'm at the stage now where I'm finishing off the /interior (which they don't cover) and realizing it's way harder to make dozens/hundreds of small decisions. Their plans made the beginning phase so much easier. How big or high should this window be? What angle is the roof? All of this is predetermined by their plans. Edit: I forgot the best part, they tell you exactly what to buy. I took their list to my local lumber store and they had the large pallet delivered to my driveway. So easy.
Anyone have a reference for a good exterminator? We haven't had too many problems but one of our tenants saw a mouse and we are probably due for a full service visit. Thanks.

One suggestion: Do not use poison as an extermination technique. Traps are better for everyone. Why? If a mouse who has ingested poison or run through poison escapes being caught, it can run to a neighbor's house or garden & kill beloved family member s like cats & dogs, or even wild birds who might eat it. It can also leave traces around that humans may come into contact with, which is epecially dangerous to little ones. Please consider that when choosing an exterminator. Also effective are reusable traps like the Ortho Press N Set. Here's a link on how to do this, if you're o.k. with killing & disposing of any rodents in your home: http://www.icreatables.com/.../mouse.../mouse-trap-best.html
