Any ideas for toddler snacks that would be good for day care? Looking for an alternative to teddy grahams & goldfish...

Hi Eve, this would be a great series of podcasts for you: http://plantyourself.com/pyp-069-how-to-keep-kids.../ I would suggest things like apple and banana slices to dip into nut/seed butters, carrot sticks and whole wheat pitta wedges with hummus, and mini or full sized muffins (good recipes here: http://www.straightupfood.com/blog/category/dessert/ The Blueberry Muffins are amazing and you can make the Carrot Cake Donuts as muffins too). You may want to join this Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dpyc.support/ to network with other parents trying to feed kids healthfully. Also some good kid-friendly recipes here: http://mitchspinach.com/recipes/stuffed-chayote-squash Oat cookies are also really good: http://www.theburlapbag.com/.../2-ingredient-cookies.../ http://eatwell-staywell.com/.../nutrient-rich-cookies.../
