About us
At Islwyn Boarding Kennels we believe that your dog needs mental stimulation as well as the fundamental care package we offer.
Time spent in kennels should be as stress free as possible for your dog, we endeavour to reduce your dog's anxiety by treating them as individuals and allowing routine and compassion to be part of your dog's stay as well as fun.
With owner's consent, functional and recreational walks can be included in your dog's daily routine.We work with an excellent group of volunteer staff who make this possible for us to maintain.
If your dog likes their own food and has an acquired taste please bring this in with you and we will ensure that your dog sticks to their own diet. Alternatively we will feed the dogs with our dry dog food.
Any toys or special bedding belonging to your dog can be brought in with them also.
Special Care Dogs
We are happy to administer any medication, ointments or special dietary requirements that your dog needs. We have experience of working with deaf dogs; insulin dependent and certain breed of dogs that have breed specific ailments. All medication must be clearly labelled with dosage and initialled by the owner, with clear storage instructions.
