We had a tasting with the owner, and chose a Chicken and Mahi (or a seasonal FISH like King Mackerel, Tuna, Sword Fish etc). And I was very quick to mention that I do not eat Tilapia (they are bottom feeders who eat Poop among other things), I mentioned this because Tilapia was a white fish on her menu. About 8-10 weeks in advance I was getting our invitations printed and I confirmed in writing to put Mahi or Chicken on our guest response cards as their dinner choice, and I also confirmed later in writing that the menu placed on each guest plate would be Mahi or Chicken. The wedding day arrives and I am sitting at the table and all my guests who chose Mahi, including my husband and I, was served Tilapia, with no prior mentioning of this to us before or after the wedding! It took me calling the owner out on it before she finally admitted that what she served us was indeed Tilapia. In addition to that, we paid for 85 guests, plus 5 vendors to eat, and they ran out of food (some guests did not get mashed Potatoes and some did not get Veggies), and only 80 guests SHOWED UP! I ALSO had bridesmaids and groomsmen who were at the main table, and were NEVER served. They had to walk to the kitchen to be served! In addition to this, I rented $350 dollars worth of water glasses for the tables and no one ever filled the water glasses up for my guests. They had to walk to the bar for a bottled water and eventually we ran out of bottled water because of this mistake by the wait staff. In addition to that, our services that we paid for included cake cutting and the caterer showed up with no cake cutting knife, and no forks! We had to cut our cake with a butter knife! Lastly and not least, this company left my wedding at 8:15pm (wedding ended at 10pm), and did not wipe down my chargers, clean up mess from tables, etc. etc. I had to pay my wedding planner extra because her husband and assistant needed to stay after to clean up after these people. This company single-handedly ruined any preparation and vision we had for our wedding day menu and our guests to have a good meal, in addition to the one star rating I will be reporting this company to the BBB. I will never recommend this company to any bride or planner of events, and I have not even got started on how bad the food was, and that it was served COLD. These people are lied, are unorganized, and provide a very very unprofessional experience. I can provide the email she sent me confirming Mahi if anyone is interested.
