  A question to an expert electrician...Part of our kitchen light stopped working some weeks ago. Thinking it was a breaker problem, we checked but it was not the case. Once and a while, the light comes on for a few minutes, then goes off for hours or days. No idea what's causing this bizarre behaviour. No, there are no ghosts in the house - been here since 2000. Before we call an electrician to make an exploratory visit, any ideas? Thanks.
