  I'm always on the look-out for a good Maryland-style crab cake (not the fried, deviled crab type). Chart House and Mitchell's Fish Market make great ones. I tried one at J. Alexanders yesterday, and it was awesome. Any other suggestions in the area?

  If you live hole-in-the-wall type places, Lobster Haven on Hillsborough Avenue does a good job with them. The restaurant is in back of of a seafood shop, so everything is super fresh. They use Louisiana blue crab meat. The house-smoked fish spread and lobster rolls are also terrific. http://lobsterhaven.net/

  Went to Lobster Haven last years, was going to make Savannah stuffed Lobster for dinner, bought wonderful lobsters a diver scallops...didn't see restaurant, thought 2-3 tabeles in the store was it...so disappointed, for future...thanks for info, love my New England seafood!!!
