Another thing you could do , but its a bit of a long shot - there are quite a few fabric shops in Goldhawk Road London, I dont think they were on facebook, but you could phone them for advice. Another place i thought of was New Fabric Fair in the Lanes Brighton, Sussex - they might give you a pointer. 01273 605512 or Fabric Warehouse Brighton 01273 620744 . Because Brighton people love anything retro or quirky they are more likely to have weird and wonderful stuff.
