  book it here in the UK, they keep a check on your flight for delays etc and they are there waiting for you when you arrive. You don't pay until you get out of the taxi :-) http://www.herakliontaxi.com/en/index.html

  Heraklion taxis are €35 but if you book a return the one back to the airport is €33
