  Hi everyone! I am new to DeBary and unfamiliar with the area so I am turning to this group for advice. I have two female chinchillas and I am certain the eldest is sick. I need to get her checked out by a vet as soon as possible. Does anyone recommend a provider who can treat exotic pets for a reasonable price?   Update: Rat snake was released at Reptile Discovery center in Deland. My rat was checked out at Florida Wild Veterinary hospital and looks good, minus a few abrasions on his face and one foot. He is on antibiotics, to be careful. Thinking of putting mesh wire over the exterior of my cage. Looking for a veterinarian near by who treats exotics. Found this intruder in my rat cage. My rats are not food! One rat has a bite on his face. Not sure if he needs antibiotics. Also I have a very angry red rat snake in a tube that needs to go live somewhere else.... preferably far far away. I am not against snakes but I do object when they are in my rat cage.

Baby squirrel was saved from a crow this afternoon. Doesn't appear to be injured just scared. Currently in a quiet crate. We attempted to find a nest but there wasn't one around.   Sampson & Goliath NEED YOUR HELP As you can see in the video Goliath walks with a limp. Well, it appears that he has what is called "bumblefoot", which is a nasty infection on the bottom of his foot. We are actually new to Debary. We have lived here less than a year. Is there anybody out there that knows how to treat it, and is it possible for me to treat/clean it myself? Or are there any veterinarians that treat ducks in the area?

  My family is needing some help finding a good yet well priced vet for our cat. We cannot find out what's wrong with him, we found out he had feline pneumonia around 6 months ago however large masses have grown in his throat and are partially blocking his airway (you can hear him breathing from a room away) and now his nose will bleed and clog up a lot as well as some odd bleeding in his ears. He has texted negative for feline AIDS, lukemia etc. but the costs to continuer taking him in are getting crazy. If anyone has experienced this with their animals or know of a very good vet for a very good price please let me know!! (In the picture I am holding the mass on each side. They are VERY large!!)
