  I am searching for a new primary care physician - one who is taking new patients. I had an appointment with a PA in a local office this morning and waited an entire hour and never got to see her. I then told the office personnel that I would reschedule because I had other commitments today and left. I am so frustrated and still need to see a doctor. Any thoughts would be appreciated!. .

  My friend who tried to get Lisa Bartels ended up seeing Dr. Odette Evangelista at the Beebe Medical Group in Georgetown, and was very pleased with her. She just went, so she should still be accepting new patients. I know I had to make dozens of calls before I could find someone in my insurance network who was accepting new patients.   My hubby and I are both in need of a primary care provider. Neither of us have been to a family physician in YEARS. He's 33, I'll be 30 in a couple months. We both have a few things going on that may require seeing specialists, so looking for a doc that is open minded, and listens to patients, not one to just say "try these pills and see if they help."
