  Hello everyone! Ok.... my husband and I sold our house in Hampton subdivision and will be closing on Dec 15th. We are able to rent a friends house for 5 months while we build a house in Providence subdivision but aren't able to start renting until Jan 15th. That leaves us with a month (Dec 15-Jan 15) without a place to stay. I wanted to put it out there on this site in hopes that someone has a recommendation of a place to rent in the Cumming, Dawsonville or even Gainesville. Thank you in advance

  It’s been 12 years, but we had a friend who rented at the Sun Suites in Cumming in between closings and houses being ready... can’t speak as to how it is now. You can also search GeorgiaMLS.com for rental properties - not sure if any listed there are that short-term though.

  Carolyn is right...the part of Henry county, right next to where we live, have great schools. Ola Elementary, Middle, and High. I would suggest Lorraine Elementary school district if moving into Rockdale. If Newton, Mansfield Elementary district is the best. If they go on www.georgiamls.com, they can look at houses either for sale or for rent...and you can search by school district.
