Hey Climbit, any recommendations for travel insurance for climbing trips? I'm planning on spending at least a month climbing in Joshua Tree & figure I ought to have some sort of insurance. I've had travel insurance before, but a lot of carriers don't allow for climbing accidents. Anyone know of any affordable insurance plans for climbers?

In Canada, at least, [TIC](http://www.travelinsurance.ca/) offers the "Youth Adventure" package, which covers climbing, boating, etc... No travel insurance will cover professional climbing (i.e. where you get paid), but I assume that's not the case. If it exists in Canada, I doubt it doesn't in the USA, but I may be wrong.
Hi all. I am looking for private medical insurance plans in Vancouver to cover the first two and half months before my BC MSP kicks in. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Hello, I've used Travel Insurance Coordinators and also had a claim processed. No problems at all and they are located in Burnaby. http://www.travelinsurance.ca/customers/index.html Radovan
