IPM Construction Services Ltd wasRe born in 2007 and incorporated on28 Feb 2010 by Mark Lodge a former project manager who has 36 years experience working in senior management roles for Architects, Interior designers and specialist Building Contractors.
Mark trained as an apprentice mason bricklayer with John Laing construction ( now Laing O’Rourke) when leaving school and studying at Huddersfield technical college to gain his city & guilds in his chosen craft, From a trade background Mark continued to improve his education with both on site and vocational training to improve on his trade apprenticeship and gained a thorough understanding of each construction discipline, Over the years that followed opportunities arose to venture into construction management culminating in Mark working for two of the most respected Architects and Interior design practices currently active in the domestic construction sector in the UK.
A keen interest in good design and an eye for quality finishes is prerequisite in delivery of bespoke construction projects both commercial and domestic. Mark is your first point of call when considering your project and the company managing director, with overall control of the day to day activities. Mark is assisted in his role by Matthew his eldest son. Matthew takes responsibility of the control on site and client liaison when Mark is not present giving our clients a clear point of contact at all times. We have grown year on year in a demanding and depressed market place and delighted to welcome Chris our youngest son into the business in 2011, Chris brings a different set of skills which will enhance our overall management potential and some fresh ideas with regard to our future. We employ directly Masons, Carpenters, Floor and Wall Tilers and Plasterers with some in house manufacturing capability for bespoke joinery products. All other trades are catered for and managed directly by our team.We have two main sectors that we operate in,... show more the first being domestic Remodelling and Refurbishments which also encompasses Extensions to existing buildings.Our other main area of operations is in Interior refits in the high end domestic sector and commercial office interiors.We offer all our clients a full design and build service in conjunction with our professional team adding cost benefit and tight project control in house. We are very flexible in our approach to our work and willing to negotiate with our clients to obtain a suitable solution to their construction dreams and aspirations.
We are active members of the Federation of Master Builders with Mark being IOSH accredited covering the health and safety aspects of our business. show more
