We used a mover through [Premium Van Lines](http://premierevanlines.com/branches/ns/premiere-van-lines-halifax) two years ago and it was a great decision. Yes it costs more than a U-Haul but on the other hand the team showed up at 8 am, were super efficient, got our bulky furniture down the stairs without damaging anything and had us moved across town and unloaded by lunchtime. Even with roping in a bunch of friends I don't think it would have been as quick or painless.
